Organization Description

Founded in Cleveland in 1954, the Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland is an independent local non-profit organization and an advocate in the management, prevention, and cure of diabetes. While supporting medical research that advances understanding of diabetes, the Association’s primary focus is on making a difference in the lives of people right here at home.

Through a broad spectrum of programs and services, the Association currently reaches 250,000 northeast Ohioans with diabetes, their families and caregivers. Because diabetes and its complications continue to affect a growing number of people, our goal is to be able to significantly expand our ability to serve the community’s needs.
